Prague's public transport system is both efficient and affordable, making it easy to explore the city. Metro runs from 5:00 AM to midnight. Trains typically arrive every 2 to 10 minutes, depending on the line and time of day. Trams and buses operate from 5:00 AM to midnight. Night trams (numbered 91 and above) run from midnight to 5:00 AM on select routes.
You can purchase tickets at ticket vending machines in metro stations, using your payment card in one of the orange machines on the trams and buses or or via the official Prague Transport app, Lítačka. This app allows you to buy tickets, check routes, and view connections. There are single tickets for 30 or 90 minute rides and 24 or 72 hour ones.
Do not forget to validate your paper ticket upon boarding trams and buses. In the metro, tickets are validated at the entrance gates (don't stamp it again when you transfer, or it will be invalid). For comprehensive details, visit the official Prague Public Transit Company website - dpp.cz.

When taking a cab in Prague, we strongly recommend phoning a reputable taxi company. If possible, avoid hailing a cab on the street. Before the journey, request a printed receipt and make sure the driver sets the meter to zero. And, of course, it’s always a good idea to carry small bills and be discreet with your belongings.
If you need a taxi at the last minute we recommend the ride hailing services such as Uber or Bolt. We are also happy to book a taxi ride with our partner reputable company at the reception for fixed rates.
Parking in our neighborhood is mostly exclusive for residents. However, there is paid parking for a limited number of hours on the streets surrounding Czech Inn. To avoid the hassle of being fined or having to move your vehicle, we recommend finding a garage or an alternative parking where to leave your car during your stay in Prague.
You can, for instance, book ahead through Mr. Parkit. Use the promo code CZINN10 in the payment section to receive a 10% discount for 24 hours or longer parking orders.
We provide guests with a free customized map of Prague full of great, helpful information and recommendations of our favourite places to eat, shop, sight-see, and more.
Sometimes, life in a hostel means a bit of room shuffling and due to the nature of hostels, it can happen that guests need to move rooms during their stay despite our best efforts to limit and avoid such cases.
Payments are due upon arrival or at the time of extension, and remember: no room hopping allowed! We don’t allow same-day check-ins and check-outs unless absolutely necessary.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if we feel they are disturbing the general operation of the hostel, other guests or our staff. Thank you for your understanding.
